20 Books of Summer

From Cathy746’s blog

So in my attempt to show you a book montage of the 20+ books I hope to read this summer by incorporating a Widget from goodreads, I got this:

Care’s 2021-books-of-summer book montage

I was hoping for a more compact layout but I don’t know enough about html to alter the code:

All good. Still shows the books. Many of these are library holds that will likely all come in all at once and I will only have 14 days to read. LOL The link to my list for this in goodreads is here.

Wish me luck! (This list doesn’t even have any poetry options – I don’t have one lined up after my current. Yikes.)

  1. I loved, loved, loved Hamnet, I’ve been recommending it all over the place! I hope you get to it this summer!

    1. Oh, I hope so, too! Murderbot is beloved in a circle I found myself in one day, a circle of intense readers. SO I must try. I was more shocked it was new to me. It’s up next in my holds from the library I think. I need these books to all wait until June, please! LOL
Thanks for stopping by and giving my encouragements.

    1. As much as I appreciate (and I really do!) your audiobook recs, I find myself with 2 copies of this somehow, so I will be reading in print.

  2. I liked Let The Great World Spin when I read it. I also liked Klara and the Sun although it’s quite sterile in feel. Hamnet, love the new cover by the way, has been on my list for awhile.

  3. I hope to read Whereabouts and Jack (both of which are sitting right here in front of me as I speak) this summer, too.

    Good luck!

I plan to read twenty of my 1001 Children’s Books You Must Read Before You Grow Up.
