And a very Merry Christmas to you 2!! We arrived at the perfect time to Doug’s- a day before a record snowfall for the first day of winter! I don’t know when I’ve seen snow accumulate so fast. We were actually driving home from the mall during the worst of it-a lesson learned-be done with shopping before a storm. We had no problems tho, due to Beth’s careful driving & us jumping out of the car at stoplights to clean off the wipers!
The kitties loved the Bean bag! Promptly climbed in to take a nap.
Also- looking forward to reading Thunderstruck. I also received a book titled Ahab’s Wife (Sena Jeter Naslund), written somewhat in response to realizing that two candidates for “the Great American Novel” had almost no women in them! (Moby Dick & Huckleberry Finn)
Anyway – I’ll report after I read.
