I just signed up for cheering at the upcoming Read-A-Thon! I don’t think I can commit to much due to unknowns of life and schedule, but hope to visit everyone, wave the pom pons, yell a Sis Boom READ!
I hope you have fun!
Thanks Kathy – will you be participating?
Cheering sounds like a nice thing to do
You might be cheering for me, who knows? I signed up to participate as a reader, although I don’t know if I’ll be able to do 24 hours of it. Can’t ignore my boyfriend and other duties like weekend shopping & cleaning for a whole day (or two halves of 2 days in my case). I couldn’t resist trying though, sounds like such a community experience!
Of course, I’ll cheer for you! Read when you can – check in often. ReadAThon is quite an event.
I hope you have a great time…this will be my first time cheerleading…though only for a short time of 1 hour…lol
Me, too. Signed up for one measly hour! But I’m sure I’ll be checking in continually and who knows! Maybe I’ll stay up all night into the wee hours…
Sweet! This is my first read-a-thon and I am pretty excited. Rah rah!
Awesome! You’ll love it.
Won’t this be fun?! I signed up too, and to give away prizes, but I couldn’t come up with any ideas for a mini-challenge. Still, I look forward to seeing you there. Or, wherever you’re reading.
I totally missed the opp to think about this one; not sure how it slipped my mind. I like to do mini-challenges.
You’re an excellent cheerleader. I’m going to miss the Readathon, again, but this time I have a good reason — a writers’ conference I want to attend. I miss the people in my old writers’ group, so I’m really looking forward to seeing them.
WONDERFUL! Go write and be with your writer friends and be writerly!
It’s time to channel the Colonel.
Thanks for cheering us on! It really does help.
