Happy May Day’s Eve

may09c

It’s the last post of the month!    I successfully posted every day in April (and I’m ready to stop…)    I had grand ideas for this post that I would link to everyone who commented and cheered me on this April, but I have a big day planned already and so I will just offer this:

I hereby commit to less posts – not daily, maybe 2-3 per week – for the month of May.   I hereby commit to visit everyone and comment in some fashion: inspired and profound or witty or… TIDDLYPOMS!

may09b

I hereby give notice that the upcoming Weekly Geek will feature yours truly as a guest poster so you may want to check in on that for Saturday.

I hereby resolve to plant a few spring flowers tomorrow to celebrate May Day and I just may invite my new pair of poppets to assist.   They are quite photogenic, don’t you agree?

I am absolutely in love with Enzo the dog and hope to finish the book today.

I am so happy that Kris was not voted off American Idol last night and have been reading too many blogs already today about the drama of Adam being in the bottom two.  This tragedy was the result of split votes, in my opinion, and not so much conspiracy.   I haven’t voted this season; I guess I’m more in for the fun of it only.   PS My favorite AI site for critical music review is Masterclass Lady.

I wish you all a very happy last day of April.

Happy May Day’s Eve! I don’t know if I write a post every day for a month. Maybe I’ll give it a try. What was the hardest part of writing every day? The writing? The coming up with a topic? I would love to know.

The hardest part of having to post every day is that it takes away from visiting other blogs. I don’t have problems with ideas of what to write – editing is probably my weakness.

Congrats! I posted every day in November, I think, and it was a challenge. I’m impressed you were able to do it. Also, I love all the pictures you posted too :)

It helps that I read 6+ books even though I didn’t write all the reviews yet. I have no problem with post ideas… I wish I could sell them.

    I shall tiddlypom you!

Your post has made me happy and optimistic, and I think I´ll go and post some blue flowers on my blog.

    Happy mayday :O

Oh, do “Tiddlypom” – it’s fun and easy.

    Congrats, Care!

And I’m utterly in love with that third photo! Actually, I very much enjoyed them all, but oh that third one just spoke to me. Of course, part of what it is saying to me is, “Nah-nah-nah-nah-nah-nah…you don’t know what I am.” So, please, can you tell me what they are and stop their taunting, okay? ;) Seriously, I just love that shot.

That is a hosta right before it opens up! Looking directly down from on top of it. I just love how they pop up and out so quickly.

yay…congratulations. I know how tough it is to post everyday, well done. And especially when you didn’t take the easy way out and post book reviews everyday :)

    And yes, beautiful refreshing photos.

Easy way out? I find book reviews to be the most stressful kind of posts! Glad you like the photos.

Congratulations on making it through the month of posts! I’ve done daily posting but only on my personal blog where I don’t have to feel as self conscious about the occasional “la la la nothing to say here” post.

    What beautiful flowers :)
I wish I could see more blue flowers here; most of them are bright oranges and yellows and reds, haha.

Wow, well done! Tiddley Pom indeed :)
I watch AI, and while I find conspiracy theories entertaining, I don’t really believe them either.
Have participated in your WG – very cool! :)

Great photographs! :D Now that I’m out of school, I’m probably going to be blogging way more than is healthy ;)

I always love looking at pictures – I wonder what others think of us bloggers running around (everywhere!) with our cameras, but I don’t care. I love seeing what eveyrone shares. And your spring pics are energizing. Excellent resolutions about your blog.
Oh, and I just wanted to say that I loved 84 Charing Cross, too. Did you happen to see the movie they made of it? I was concerned that it would be … ruined, but really it wasn’t bad. I love the book; it has an honorable place on the shelf.
    Happy Spring!

Congratulations!! I’m not sure if I’d manage to do that. I love your photos :)

@Ali – I can always seem to spin any post into something with a book reference. Thanks for being a steadfast loyal daily reader here.

@Marinko – I love all the color flowers of spring. I do admit that at my house, I try to stick with purples because I have a purple front door and a purple mailbox. I’m all matchy-matchy.

@Maree – you are awesome! you’ve been a great commenter for this week’s geek – thank you. Tiddlypom!

@Lu – Congrats on a finishing the semester. Blog away!

@oh – Happy Spring to you. When I first got into scrapbooking, I was taking photos of any and all things in my path. Then blogging happened – it got worse! I’ve settled down a bit but always am addicted to flower photography.

@Nymeth – it’s not too hard. You could just break a post into a series of days and wa la!

Hah – Tiddlypom – that’s wicked and shall now be my new word! My kids have the annoying habit of randomly blurting out net-speak like ROFLMAO (it sounds kinda like rofflemow when spoken.) Now I shall respond to their silliness with Tiddlypom :P

Talking to teenagers always has me talking strange – I can’t believe how much of a strange adult I am when I sub. I say the stupidest things and shake my head at myself wondering HOW and WHEN did I get old and odd?

The Garth Stein book you mentioned really is great. Enzo the dog is my hero! I saw the author just started his own Twitter so I am interested to see what he has to say!

    Thanks for the info.
