Stalking Chartroose…

Sure, along the same idea of CHASING AMY (I haven’t seen this movie, so I could be wrong, but the -ing thing works, right?) I have created a button/badge/icon/thingy – WHAT is the word?

Here we go:   Jill?   How’d I do?           STALKING CHARTROOSE…

And now I present to you the STALKING CHARTROOSE READING CHALLENGE:

Geek Love by Katherine Dunn

A Separate Peace by John Knowles

Never Let Me Go and When We Were Orphans and Remains of the Day by Kazuo Ishiguro

anything by H.P.Lovecraft

Nora Johnson’s The World of Henry Orient

The Road to Wellville by Boyle

oh, pretty much anything in this post from May

We Disappear - Scott Heim

and yes, pretty much all books she has reviewed this year, last year and will review in the future.    Stalking has no deadline, ya know.

and I quote:

“Nothing delights me more than a well-turned phrase,”

we close with sinister laughing, a la Vincent Price-ish….

Wow, this is so cool! I’m going to put the button in my sidebar if I can figure out how to squeeze it in there. Thanks, Care!

copy and paste then compress? I ‘ll have to remember to put in my sidebar, too…

Enjoy your reading, I read Lovecraft before, and I did enjoy it.

Thank you. I wonder if Lovecraft would be good for the LitFlick challenge, too…

Chartroose, blogger conveniently resizes pictures so they fit in the sidebar. Isn’t it nice when your blog helps you to be a stalker?

I love, love, love the button/badge/thingie/whatever the heck it’s called!

YIPPEE!!!! I had a much too fun blogging day yesterday. Well, back to Monday.

LOL! Too cute! I call it a button, I think. I’m so glad you posted that link to Chartroose’s list (the one posted in May) because now I know she adores Jack Finney. I love anyone who loves Jack Finney. He is just the coolest. Or was. I wish I could find more books by Finney.

OK – I’ll call it a button, too. I need to add Finney to the list.

I too will stalk…but only be reading the blog. My book list is already too long :(

Gigi, her blog is great, isn’t it? Most of the books she reads are new to me so I thought I would try to catch up and read all these books she says are MUSTs. SO this challenge was created.

What about this tbr of yours? What books are you recommending these days? I’m always fascinated by books I’ve never heard of being on the “IF you can only read one book, read ____”

    Thanks for stopping by!

    I already stalk her!!

Just read Never Let Me Go based on her review of it a long while back- even submitted it to my book club based on her review and they voted it in to discuss in December. I’m trying to figure out how to review it without giving anything away–tricky, right?

Very fun idea!! Love the doo hicky you made (button?)

NLMG is an excellent book for discussion! I’ll be watching for your review.
