A wonderful reading haven, and an admirably organized desk. Maybe we can do a little weather averaging so we can all read outdoors. It’s been raining and in the 50s for more than a week here in Seattle. I don’t want it to be 97 and humid, but maybe you could send a little blue sky my way?

@Char – I am intrigued 2 pages in of ASP but it does seem a bit wordy. Not horribly so.

@Melody – Yes, the yard is actually quite nice and I hope to get more perennials to give it some color. Thx for stopping by.

@Stephanie – the schools here are keeping the kids and making them suffer. And to top it off, then they cancel the field trips cuz it’s too hot. Which I suppose an hour on a hot bus would be yucky. But the trips are oceanside – wouldn’t it be a tad cooler there? Maybe they are afraid the kids will bolt and dive in rather than enjoy whatever critter lecture is going on?!

Yep, we’ve got that same hot & humid weather here in NJ – in fact, my daughter’s school will only be running a half day schedule tomorrow since they don’t have air conditioning. Thank God we have it at home!
