Dear Readers, a couple of things I want to share today…
One: I just left a comment at Kristen’s blog (Please Kristen, if you stop by, please provide a link/comment because I can’t get the new editor to link! Otherwise I would love to provide everyone a way to get to your blog. 
) [Ugh, even my smiley faces aren't working...] What I commented on her list of terrific discussion generating books, is that I am not writing my reviews with much ’story’. Perhaps, it’s the kind of books I’m reviewing. And the limitations of time/forethought/new WP editor… I hereby will work on this for my next review of Ask Again Later which I will post this week. (see, I’m challenging myself!)
Two: A friend I saw over the weekend told me that she is reading We Need To Talk About Kevin. WHAT?!?! The last time we had gotten together, I told her about my book blog and that I was reading this book and, of course, it was engrossing and disturbing and so I yapped about it. I NEVER thought that I actually recommended it to her! (She’s pregnant. It shocks my sensibilities that she would want to read that book while pregnant!) Anyway, she did calm me some when she said she skipped to the end because she wasn’t sure she could continue. I didn’t know what to say…
So, I’m going to send her an email of Lisa’s review at Books on the Brain and maybe she’ll join us in this book bloggy thing we got going here.
What a fun outlet this medium is for sharing our love of reading, wouldn’t you agree?
