Review
St. Lucy’s Home For Girls Raised By Wolves by Karen Russell
Short Story Collection. Young Adult Category. PlanetBooks Choice for March/April (sorry, I can’t get the linking to work in this new WP… Please check the blogroll…)
I’m also having trouble adapting (actually, I think it’s my PC and Adobe and other whatnot issues) to this new editor so this will be short.
I found this book to be DELIGHTFUL! quirky, is an understatement! Unbelievably creative, touching, human, insane! fun. The personalness in its whackiness was extraordinary.
I give it 4 stars out of 5. The only issue I would have with it, and this is my personal opinion – which, yes, this blog and ALL my reviews are opinion and not technical for writing high-brow blahblahblah, is that the stories all end so abruptly. (is that spelled right?!)
The stories just end. You will get emotionally invested with the main characters of all these wonderful little gems of stories… and then, only questions! But… What happens NEXT?! sorry, next story.
sigh. Yet, really, wonderful. Amazing. Delightful.
FOUR STARS.

I am really looking forward to reading this. In my optomistic state, I am still hoping that I can finish this by the end of April
After I turn in an exam on the 10th and a paper on the 14th, hopefully, I will have more time to read.
This makes me even more excited to get it!
And the new WordPress has me a bit disoriented as well…I think I’m getting the hang of it, though.
