I have finished the HWB book! So it can be found in my PAGE of Past Tense and I will update the current’s and futures… and maybe ADD to this later with an expanded review. I did like it. a LOT. Covers ever so lightly on so many great historical times and people: a little Civil War, a little Underground Railroad, of course, some ‘church’ history (having only really studied Martin Luther & the Reformation), some Abe Lincoln, some corporate corruption, women’s suffrage, Mark Twain, etc, etc, etc. Good read.
and Debby Applegate won the Pulitzer (with it, or for it?) Not too shabby, I would say.
